The Philadelphia Streets Department announces a new program for accepting applications for installation of Small Cell & Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Wireless Facilities on poles in the public Right of Way. Companies must obtain authorization to install this infrastructure in the Right of Way through a plan review and permitting process that will include entering into an Agreement with the Streets Department. The application review process for the Program will be overseen by the Chief Street Lighting Engineer, at [email protected].
Applicant companies will be directed to submit licensing applications through a web based map portal. Further instructions will be provided to each company before the application process begins.
To participate in this program, the Streets Department requests a letter of intent be submitted to the Chief Street Lighting Engineer no later than November 24, 2017, by 5pm. Letter to be addressed to:
