Philadelphia's Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Committee (SWRAC) is an appointed citizens' committee that assists and advises the city on the preparation and implementation of its waste management and recycling plan. The SWRAC also advises the City, primarily the Streets Department, on other solid waste and recycling policy and program matters.
The SWRAC generally meets bi-monthly on the fourth Thursday of each month at 3 p.m., via Zoom. From time to time the SWRAC may have subcommittees or other working groups that meet on a different schedule.
