STREETS DEPARTMENT SCHEDULES MAINTENANCE WORK ON CENTER CITY STREETS

Evening Work Scheduled Tonight

PHILADELPHIA - The Streets Department will be performing road maintenance work on a number of streets in Center City on Thursday, June 15 between 4pm and 12am, announced Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams. There will be intermittent closures while crews are working. The work is being performed while there is less vehicular traffic and for the safety of work crews, weather permitting. 

The following impacted blocks are in the 9th (215-686-3090) and 17th Police Districts (215-686-3170):

The impacted streets are as follows:

  • 300 S. 15th Street
  • 300 S. 16th Street
  • Intersection of 17th & Cypress Streets
  • 200 - 500 S. 17th Street
  • 200 S. 18th Street
  • 200 S. 20th Street
  • 100 N. 21st Street
  • 200 S. 21st Street
  • 100 S. 22nd Street
  • 200 S. 24th Street
  • 500 S. 27th Street
  • 1700 & 1800 Addison Street
  • 2100 Arch Street
  • 1800 Delancey Street
  • 1500, 1700 & 2000 Locust Street
  • 2400 Lombard Street
  • 2200 Ludlow Street
  • Intersection of 23rd & Market Street
  • 2300 Market Street
  • 2300 Naudain Street
  • 1800 & 2500 Panama Street
  • 1600, 1900 & 2200 Pine Street

We ask that residents do not park vehicles on work sites where temporary "No Parking" signs are posted to avoid vehicles being towed.  In the event a car is towed, please contact your local Police District to determine its location.
